Went to COSTCO for the first time in about 8 years. I didn’t realize that my membership had expired in 2006. Walking the aisles, first thing I noticed is how almost identical it is to SAM’S CLUB. Is there a difference? Amazing to see the people lined up for the quickie restaurant, where you can get a hot dog and soda for $1.50. Plus who WOULDN’T want a 48 count of PopTarts? One thing about COSTCO, go hungry on weekends because you can have a full stomach by the time you leave after trying all the free samples they’re passing out every other aisle.

Dumb-dumb here got his truck towed over the weekend. First night at the new place. $186 because I was sure just one night wouldn’t be an issue. But the price may have been worth the tow yard I visited to get it back. It was like going to see Hannibal Lecter. Just a voice in a speaker, and a metal drawer that opened with a loud thump. Plus three or four bullet holes that didn’t make it all the way through the glass.

Interesting question: how many different places have you lived since you left home? I counted around 20 since I went off to college, meaning I’ve moved once about every 1.75 years. I bet military brats have higher numbers, but I wonder if there’s anyone left who find a spot and stay.

David’s most difficult move…
The hardest move I ever had to make: from one apartment to another in the same apartment complex. I had to literally carry, dolly and drag all the furniture myself across a long parking lot… in the middle of May… in Houston.
Rebekah has moved 8 times in the last 13 years…
I left home at 18 for college to attend The University of Texas. I moved into the Stone Ranch Apartments…I think that was the name. After my first year, I moved again to Crossing Place. The very next year, I moved to a different apartment within the same complex. Then I moved into a really scary apartment complex and that only lasted a month before I moved into the Sunridge Apartments, which was the best apartment ever! A few months later, I graduated and moved to LA and lived in an apartment that cost me more than my house mortgage!!! When I moved back from LA to get married, I briefly lived with my parents. After I got married, the hubby and I moved to Allen for a year and then moved to McKinney and have been there for the last 5 years.
